Bring ID with you as staff must sight it to issue a card. Accepted identifications are – drivers license, birth certificate, passport, Cando Cards or School Identification with your name and date of birth on it.
Please note: If you lose your Metrocard, you can pick up a replacement card from the Metroinfo Counter at the Bus Interchange only. If you have registered your Metrocard, we can transfer your balance to your new card.
The cost of a Metrocard is $5. Loading a minimum of $10 onto the Metrocard will activate it. After that, you can top-up your card with a minimum of $10. The $5 card fee is not refundable.
