Where to buy Metrocard
Metrocard is not available for purchase on buses, but you can purchase and top up your card at any of the below locations: 

Bring ID with you as staff must sight it to issue a card, accepted identifications are – drivers license, birth certificate, passport, Cando Cards or School Identification with your name and date of birth on it.

Please note: If you loose your Metrocard the only places you can get a replacment card from are the Metroinfo Kiosk at Central Station or the Metro office.

How much does it cost?

The cost of a Metrocard is $10.00 and you also are required to load a minimum of $10 onto the Metrocard for it to work. Thereafter, you can top-up your card with a minimum of $10 and multiples of $10 (eg $10, $20, $30).
