Timaru, Temuka and Twizel each have different fare structures. Each of these structures is outlined below.

Cash fare	Single Trip	$1.50	$1.00	Includes one free transfer within 4 hours.

NB: Metrocard replaces old multi-trip tickets and monthly passes in Timaru

Fares for SuperGold holders: Travel in Timaru is free upon presentation of SuperGold card for all off-peak travel between 9 am and 3 pm and after 6.30 pm to end of service on weekdays and all-day weekends and public holidays.

Fares for SuperGold holders: Temuka to Timaru travel is free upon presentation of SuperGold card for all off-peak travel between 9 am and 3 pm and after 6.30 pm to end of service on weekdays and all-day weekends and public holidays on specified InterCity services that carry Metro passengers between Timaru and Temuka.

Note that free SuperGold cardholder travel does not apply to these services.
