• Major changes to bus services in Timaru due to COVID-19

    From Thursday 26 April regular bus services are not operating in Timaru until further notice.

    The MyWay by Metro ​on demand service is available only for people working in essential services, or who are travelling for medical reasons, or to get to the supermarket.

 Lost Metrocard

Metrocard is safe and secure. Each card has its own unique number that is registered to you, so that if you report your card as lost or stolen it can be blocked and any remaining money can be transferred to a new card. 

Report a lost or stolen card

To report your card lost or stolen call us on 6 88 55 44 and we will block your card from being used. If you have an online account you can also login and block your card. Blocking your card stops anyone being able to use the remaining credit on your card.

Replacement cards

A replacement card will cost you $10.00.  Any remaining credit from your old card can also be transfered onto the new card for you.
