Route Updates

• 

  Detour - Oxford St (from 22 May 2013 until 23 May 2013)

  ​Due to Pavement works all buses will detour on Wednesday 22nd May between 9am and 1pm (or Thursday 23 May if it rains on 22nd May). Firstly the wharf bus stop will be closed for the entire period. Buses will detour off Oxford St onto London St and Canterbury St back onto Norwich Quay. Also bus stop 41812 on Norwich Quay will not be serviced during this time and passengers should use the temporary stop that will be located on Norwich Quay just after Canterbury St (heading towards the tunnel).

  Detour - Manchester St /Bealey Ave intersection (from 21 May 2013 until further notice)

  ​Due to the intersection of Manchester St and Bealey Ave being closed  all buses travelling towards Northlands are detouring off Salisbury St onto Madras St and Bealey Ave back onto Sherborne St to continue the normal route until further notice.

  Bus stop closed - Montreal St (from 13 May 2013 until further notice)

  ​Bus stop 14872 on Montreal St between Worcester St and Gloucester St (opposite the Art Gallery) is currently closed. A temporary stop has been installed further north on Montreal St, between Gloucester St and Armagh St.

  Detour - Opawa Rd (from 22 Apr 2013 until further notice)

  ​From Monday 22nd April all buses travelling towards Lyttelton and Rapaki will detour due to  lateral waste water pipe replacement on Opawa Rd. Buses will detour off Opawa Rd onto Ensors Rd and Brougham St back onto Opawa Rd to resume the normal route. Bus stops 32506 and 32510 on Opawa Rd and stop 32990 on Garlands Rd will be closed during this time. Alternative stops are available on Opawa Rd (between Brougham St and Ensors Rd and just past Garlands Rd)

  Buses can now stop at the Gondola (from 26 Mar 2013 until further notice)

  ​Buses will now stop on request at the Christchurch Gondola carpark for those wishing to travel to the attraction. When boarding please tell the driver you would like to travel to the Gondola - if you do not let the driver know they may continue past the car park onto Lyttelton.
