Route Updates

• 

  Detour - Flooding Owles Tce / Collingwood St (from 20 Jun 2013 until further notice)

  Due to flooding in Owles Tce and Collingwood St all buses travelling towards the city and Church Corner are detouring off Beresford St  onto Marine Parade and Hawke St back onto New Brighton Rd to resume the normal route. This detour is in place until further notice.​

  Detour - Tuam St (from 20 Jun 2013 until further notice)

  ​Due to the light phasing on Tuam St / Montreal St intersection being changed for the Montreal St road works buses will detour from Wednesday 19 June until further notice. Buses travelling towards Middleton will detour by turning off Tuam St onto Durham St, St Asaph St and Antigua St back onto Tuam St where they will continue their normal route.

  Detour - New Brighton Rd (from 19 Jun 2013 until further notice)

  ​Due to road repairs on New Brighton Rd, buses travelling towards New Brighton are detouring until further notice. Buses are detouring off New Brighton Rd onto Rawson St, Pratt St, and then back onto New Brighton Rd to continue the usual route. No bus stops are affected by this detour.

  Buses travelling towards the city/Middleton are not affected by this detour.

  Bus stop closed - Aldwins Rd (from 29 May 2013 until further notice)

  ​Due to works on Aldwins Rd, bus stop 36891 (just south of the Linwood Ave intersection) will be closed from Wednesday 29 May until further notice. Passengers are asked to use the main stop at Eastgate Mall (stop 40882) instead.

  Detour - Birmingham Dr stage 4 (from 17 May 2013 until further notice)

  ​The road works along Birmingham Dr will change again at from 11am on Friday 17 May. Buses travelling from Church Corner towards the city will no longer detour and travel their normal route down Birmingham Dr. The bus stop outside 12 Birmingham Dr will be closed and passengers can use the temporary stop after the works close to the closed stop. Buses travelling from the city towards Church Corner will continue to detour off Lincoln Rd onto Curletts Rd and Lunns Rd back onto Annex Rd. All bus stops on Wrights Rd and Birmingham Dr (for buses travelling towards Church Corner) will not be serviced, instead passengers can use stop 12939 outside 94 Lincoln Rd or stop 50643 at 261 Annex Rd.

  Detour Seaview Rd / Hardy St (from 14 May 2013 until 21 Jun 2013)

  ​Due to water pipe repairs all buses will detour away from Seaview Rd and Hardy St from Monday 6 May. Buses travelling towards the city and Middleton will detour by departing from Beresford St turning onto Hardy St, Collingwood St and Owles Tce back onto New Brighton Rd to resume their normal route. Bus stop 18901 on Seaview Rd and stop 18891 on Hardy St will be closed and passengers can use the Beresford St terminus as their boarding point instead.

  Buses travelling towards New Brighton will detour off New Brighton Rd at the roundabout on to Hawke St and Marine Parade back onto Beresford St where they will end their trips at the terminus. Bus stop 18149 on Seaview Rd, stop 18131 on Hardy St and stop 18972 on Beresford St will be closed. Passengers can be dropped off on Hawke St and at the Beresford St terminus instead.
