Route Updates

  Bus stops closed Shirley Rd (from 20 May 2013 until 07 Jun 2013)

  ​Due to works on Shirley Rd two bus stops will be closed from Monday 20 May . The two bus stops on Shirley Rd adjacent to the corner of Slater St on both sides of the road will be closed. Passengers should use the next bus stops up (towards the Palms) on Shirley Rd adjacent to the Emmett St corner.

  Detour - Keyes Rd (from 22 Apr 2013 until 24 May 2013)

  ​Due to lateral waste water pipe replacement all buses travelling towards New Brighton will detour off Keyes Rd from Monday 22nd April. Buses will turn off Keyes Rd onto Pratt St and New Brighton Rd back onto Hawke St to continue the normal route. Bus stops 39365 and 39472 on Keyes Rd between Rawson St and Hawke St will be closed during this time and passengers can use existing bus stops on Hawke St instead.

  Detour - Edgeware Rd (from 18 Mar 2013 until further notice)

  ​Buses travelling towards New Brighton are detouring off Edgeware Rd onto Sherborne St and Canon St, then back onto Barbadoes St to continue the normal route.

  Buses travelling towards Merivale are detouring off Barbadoes St onto Canon St and Colombo St, then back onto Edgeware Rd to continue the normal route.

  Existing bus stops on Edgeware Rd near Caledonian Rd can be used by passengers in both directions and temporary stops are available on Canon St near the Manchester St intersection.

  Detour - Rookwood Ave / Bowhill Rd (from 01 Mar 2013 until further notice)

  All buses travelling towards New Brighton will detour from Friday 1 March away from Rookwood Ave and Bowhill Rd due to waste water pipe replacement works. Buses will detour off Travis Rd onto Bower Ave, Palmers Rd, Bowhill Rd, Baker St and Dennitt St back onto Keyes Rd to continue the normal route. Bus stop 39354 (on Rookwood Ave) will be closed and passengers should use stop 39438 (on Travis Rd) instead. Buses travelling towards the Palms and Halswell are not affected.​
