From Wednesday 28^th January for 3 days there will be road works on Marshland Rd that will require school route 724 to detour from its usual route.

Morning trips travelling towards AGHS and SBHS will not be impacted

Afternoon trips travelling towards Rangiora will follow the normal route to Marshland Rd, turn left on Belfast Rd, turn right on Main North Rd, veer right to stay on Main North Rd, and veer left to stay on Main North Rd to resume the normal route.

From Tuesday 6th January there will be road works on Estuary Rd that will require school route 667 to detour from its usual route until further notice.

Morning trips travelling towards AGHS ad SBHS will have no detour required.

Afternoon trips travelling towards Southshore will continue the normal route to Bridge St, take the 2^nd exit at the Estuary Rd roundabout, turn right on Pine Ave, veer left to stay on Pine Ave, and continue on Rockinghorse Rd to resume the normal route.

From Thursday 29^th January for 3 days there will be road works on Marine Pde that will require school route 653 to detour from its usual route.

Morning trips travelling towards Chisnallwood Intermediate will not be impacted.

Afternoon trips travelling towards Southshore will follow the normal route to Marine Pde, turn right on Leaver Tce, turn left on Tonks St, turn right on Bowhill Rd, take the 1^st exit at the Keyes Rd roundabout, turn left on Hawke St, take the 2^nd exit at the Shaw Ave roundabout, and turn right on Marine Pde to resume the normal route

From Tuesday 6th January there will be road works on Estuary Rd that will require school route 653 to detour from its usual route until further notice.

From Thursday 29^th January for 2 days there will be road works on Halkett Rd that will require the Route 86 service to detour from its usual route.

Buses travelling eastbound towards the City will follow the normal route to Weedons Ross Rd, turn left on Halkett Rd, turn left on Iris Taylor Ave, take the 2^nd exit at the Jacks Dr roundabout, take the 2^nd exit at the Preston Ave roundabout, and turn left on West Coast Rd to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling westbound towards Darfield will follow the normal route to West Coast Rd, continue on West Coast Rd, turn right on Iris Taylor Ave, take the 2^nd exit at the Preston Ave roundabout, take the 2^nd exit at the Jacks Dr roundabout, turn right on Halkett Rd, and turn right on Weedons Ross Rd to resume the normal route.

From Monday 2^nd February there will be road works on Athelstan St that will require the Route 60 service to detour from its usual route.

Buses travelling eastbound towards Southshore will follow the normal route to Frankleigh St, and continue on Milton St to resume the normal route.

From Monday 26^th January for 7 days there will be road works on Selwyn St that will require the Route 60 service to detour from its usual route.

Buses travelling westbound towards Hillmorton will follow the normal route to Selwyn St, turn left on Disraeli St, turn right on Antigua St, turn right on Brougham St, and turn left on Selwyn St to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling eastbound towards Southshore will not be impacted.

From Monday 2^nd February there will be road works on Athelstan St that will require the Route 44 service to detour from its usual route until further notice.

Buses travelling northbound towards Shirley will follow the normal route to Barrington St, turn right on Milton St, and continue on Milton St to resume the normal route.

From Monday 26^th January there will be road works on Barbadoes St that will require the Route 44 service to detour from its usual route until further notice.

Buses travelling northbound towards Shirley/Dallington will follow the normal route to Bealey Ave, turn left on Madras St, turn right on Edgeware Rd and turn left on Barbadoes St to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling southbound towards Westmorland will not be impacted.

From Monday 5th January there will be road works restarting on Flockton St that will require the Route 44 service to detour from its usual route until further notice. 

Buses travelling northbound towards Shirley will follow the normal route along Warrington St, continue on Warrington St, turn left on to Hills Rd, left on to Aylesford St, left on to Westminster St and right on to Kensington Ave to resume the normal route. 

Buses travelling southbound towards Westmorland will follow the normal route along Westminster St, continue on Westminster St, left on to Francis Ave, left on to Warrington St and right on to Barbadoes St to resume the normal route.

From Tuesday 27^th January for 4 days there will be road works on Dunbars Rd that will require the Route 100 service to detour from its usual route.

Buses travelling northbound towards The Palms will follow the normal route to Dunbars Rd, turn left on Ensign St, turn right on Cobra St, turn right on Hindess St, and take the 1^st exit at the Dunbars Rd roundabout to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling southbound towards Halswell/Wigram will follow the normal route to Dunbars Rd, take the 3^rd exit at the Hindess St roundabout, turn left on Cobra St, turn left on Balkwell St, and turn right on Dunbars Rd to resume the normal route.

From Tuesday 27^th January for 14 days there will be road works on Cobham St that will require the Route 120 service to detour from its usual route.

Buses travelling northbound towards Burnside will follow the normal route to Lyttelton St, turn right into Wychbury St, and turn left on Barrington St to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling southbound towards Spreydon & Barrington will follow the normal route to Barrington St, turn right on Wychbury St, and turn left on Lyttelton St to resume the normal route.

From Monday 26^th January for 19 days there will be road works on Marshland Rd that will require school route 671 to detour from its usual route.

Afternoon trips travelling towards Burnham will follow the normal route to Brookside Rd, turn right on Granite Dr, and turn right on Dunns Crossing Rd to resume the normal route.

From Monday 26^th January for 6 days there will be road works on Greers Rd that will require the Orbiter service to detour from its usual route.

Buses travelling clockwise will follow the normal route to Waimairi Rd, continue on Waimairi Rd, take the 3^rd exit at the Grahams Rd roundabout, continue on Grahams Rd, turn right on Guildford St, and turn left on Greers Rd to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling anti-clockwise will follow the normal route to Greers Rd, turn right on Memorial Ave, turn left on Grahams Rd, continue on Grahams Rd, take the 1st exit at the Waimairi Rd roundabout, and continue on Waimairi Rd to resume the normal route.

From Sunday 25^th January for 7 nights there will be road works on Greers Rd that will require the Orbiter service to detour from its usual route.

Buses travelling clockwise will follow the normal route to Waimairi Rd, continue on Waimairi Rd, take the 3^rd exit at the Grahams Rd roundabout, continue on Grahams Rd, turn right on Guildford St, and turn left on Greers Rd to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling anti-clockwise will follow the normal route to Greers Rd, turn right on Guilford St, turn left on Grahams Rd, continue on Grahams Rd, take the 1^st exit at the Waimairi Rd roundabout, and continue along Waimairi Rd to resume the normal route.

From Monday 12th January there will be Stop/Go traffic controls in place on Centaurus Rd near Kowhai Tce to facilitate sewer renewal works that will impact the Orbiter service

Unfortunately, there is no suitable detour for heavy vehicles in this area so delays to certain trips may occur.

Works are expected to be completed in April.

Buses travelling southbound towards Westlake will follow the normal route to Chalmers St, turn left on Main South Rd, turn right on Shands Rd, and turn left on Amyes Rd to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling northbound towards Redwood will not be impacted.

From Tuesday 13th January for 19 days there will be road works on Marine Parade that will require the Route 135 service to detour from its usual route. 

Buses travelling eastbound towards New Brighton will follow the normal route along Marine Pde, turn right on to Leaver Tce, left on to Tonks St, right on to Bowhill Rd, take the first exit at the roundabout on to Keyes Rd, turn left on to Hawke St, take the second exit at the roundabout on to Shaw Ave and right on to Marine Pde to resume the normal route. 

Buses travelling westbound towards The Palms will not be impacted.

From Sunday 4 January there will be road works on Harewood Road that will require Route 27 to detour from its usual route until further notice. 

Buses travelling northbound towards Northwood will continue the normal route to Harewood Road, take the 3rd exit at the Highsted Rd roundabout, and take the 2nd exit at the Sawyers Arms Rd roundabout to resume the normal route. 

Buses travelling southbound towards Huntsbury will continue the normal route to Highsted Rd, take the 2nd exit at the Sawyers Arms Rd roundabout, and take the 1st exit at the Harewood Rd roundabout to resume the normal route.

There will be several closed and temporary bus stops along Halswell Rd due to the road improvements currently underway and estimated to take two and a half years. These will impact Route 7 passengers as well as some other routes that use Halswell Rd.

Please take note of the signs installed by contractors at the closed stops, directing you to the nearest stop/temporarily placed stop. Allow for additional time to get to your stop in case stops have been moved as the road works progress.
