On Saturday 4th July there will be road closures in the city for the Te Kaha stadium events that will require the Route 95 service to detour from its usual route between the hours of 8pm till last bus. Please be aware that delays may occur due to traffic in the area.

Buses travelling northbound towards Gloucester St will have no detour required, but will follow instructions at closure points on Manchester St. Please note that buses will not be servicing the Manchester Super Stops while events are on. All pick-ups/drop-offs will happen at the Interchange.

Buses travelling westbound towards Halswell will follow the normal route to Mairehau Rd, turn right on Putake Dr, take the 1^st exit at the Rothesay Rd rdbt, take the 2^nd exit at the Pohutukawa Cres rdbt, turn left on Burwood Rd, turn left at the Burwood Hospital Main Entry, turn left on Burwood Rd, and take the 2^nd exit at the Mairehau Rd rdbt to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling eastbound towards Queenspark will not be impacted.

Buses travelling westbound towards Rolleston will follow the normal route to Banks St, turn right on Kirk Rd, turn left on Maddisons Rd, turn left on Dawsons Rd, take the 2^nd exit at the Dawsons Rd rdbt, and onto Jones Rd to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling eastbound towards New Brighton will follow the normal route to Jones Rd, take the 2^nd exit at the Dawsons Rd rdbt, onto Dawsons Rd, turn right on Maddisons Rd, turn right on Kirk Rd, and turn left on Banks St to resume the normal route.

From Monday 15th June, Stop #13933 (Main North Rd near Wrights Rd) will be permanently removed and no longer used by Route 1.

Instead, please use Stop #54874 (Kaiapoi South Park & Ride).

Buses travelling westbound towards the Airport/Sheffield Crescent will follow the normal route to Saint Asaph St, continue on Saint Asaph St, turn right on Colombo St, turn right on Tuam St, and enter the Bus Interchange via the Tuam St gate to resume the normal route. From there buses will follow traffic management instructions at closure points.

Buses travelling westbound towards Hillmorton will follow the normal route to Hereford St, turn right on Fitzgerald Ave, turn left on Gloucester St, turn left on Manchester St, follow instructions at closure points on Manchester St/Hereford St, and continue on Manchester St to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling eastbound towards Southshore will follow the normal route to Lichfield St, follow instructions at the closure point on Manchester St, continue on Manchester St, turn right on Gloucester St, turn right on Barbadoes St, and turn left on Hereford St to resume the normal route.

On Monday 29^th June for 4 nights there will be road works on Monsaraz Blvd that will require the Route 60 service to detour from its usual route between the hours of 7pm to 6am.

Buses travelling westbound towards Hillmorton will follow the normal route to Hendersons Rd, continue on Hendersons Rd, and turn left on Halswell Rd to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling eastbound towards Southshore will follow the normal route to Halswell Rd, continue on Halswell Rd, turn right on Rowley Ave, turn right on Barrowclough St, turn left on Hendersons Rd, and continue on Hendersons Rd to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling eastbound towards Parklands will follow the normal route to Tuam St, turn right on Manchester St, turn left on Moorhouse Ave, turn left on Fitzgerald St, turn right on Saint Asaph St, turn left on Phillips St, and turn right on Tuam St to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling westbound towards Lincoln will follow the normal route to Saint Asaph St, continue on Saint Asaph St, turn right on Colombo St, turn right on Tuam St, to enter the Bus Interchange via the Tuam St gate to resume the normal route. From there buses will follow traffic management instructions at closure points.

Morning trips travelling towards Upper Riccarton Schools will follow the normal route to Jones Rd, take the 2^nd exit at the Dawsons Rd rdbt, onto Dawsons Rd, turn right on Maddisons Rd, turn right on Kirk Rd, and turn left on Banks St to resume the normal route.

Afternoon trips travelling towards Burnham will follow the normal route to Banks St, turn right on Kirk Rd, turn left on Maddisons Rd, turn left on Dawsons Rd, take the 2^nd exit at the Dawsons Rd rdbt, and onto Jones Rd to resume the normal route.

From Tuesday 9th June there will be road works on Mairehau Rd that will require the Route 135 service to detour from its usual route until further notice.

Buses travelling westbound towards The Palms will follow the normal route to Mairehau Rd, turn right on Putake Dr, take the 1^st exit at the Rothesay Rd rdbt, take the 2^nd exit at the Pohutukawa Cres rdbt, turn left on Burwood Rd, turn left at the Burwood Hospital Main Entry and turn right on Burwood Rd to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling eastbound towards New Brighton will not be impacted.

Afternoon trips travelling towards Queenspark will follow the normal route to Mairehau Rd, turn right on Putake Rd, take the 1^st exit at the Rothesay Rd rdbt, take the 2^nd exit at the Pohutukawa Cres rdbt, turn right on Burwood Rd, continue on Prestons Rd, turn left on Prestons Park Dr, take the 2^nd exit at the Katrine Dr rdbt, take the 2^nd exit at the Aviemore Dr rdbt, take the second exit at the Georgina St rdbt, and turn right on Mairehau Rd to resume the normal route.

Afternoon trips travelling towards Queenspark will follow the normal route to Mairehau Rd, turn right on Putake Rd, take the 1^st exit at the Rothesay Rd rdbt, take the 2^nd exit at the Pohutukawa Cres rdbt, and turn right on Burwood Rd to resume the normal route.

From Monday 12th January there will be Stop/Go traffic controls in place on Centaurus Rd near Kowhai Tce to facilitate sewer renewal works that will impact the Orbiter service.

Unfortunately, there is no suitable detour for heavy vehicles in this area so delays to certain trips may occur.
