On Monday 29^th June for 4 nights there will be road works on Monsaraz Blvd that will require the Route 60 service to detour from its usual route between the hours of 7pm to 6am.

Buses travelling westbound towards Hillmorton will follow the normal route to Hendersons Rd, continue on Hendersons Rd, and turn left on Halswell Rd to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling eastbound towards Southshore will follow the normal route to Halswell Rd, continue on Halswell Rd, turn right on Rowley Ave, turn right on Barrowclough St, turn left on Hendersons Rd, and continue on Hendersons Rd to resume the normal route.

On Saturday 27^th June for 1 day there will be road closures in New Brighton due to the Winter Fireworks Spectacular that will require the Route 60 service to detour from its usual route between the hours of 4pm to 9:30pm. Please note, passengers will be dropped off at Oram Ave only. There will be no drop off’s on Seaview Rd, Hardy St, or Beresford St.

4pm to 6pm - Buses travelling eastbound towards Southshore will follow the normal route to Keyes Rd, turn right on Hawke St, turn left on Seaview Rd, turn right on Hardy St, turn left on Beresford St, and turn right on Oram Ave to resume the normal route.

6pm to 9:30pm - Buses travelling eastbound towards Southshore will follow the normal route to Keyes Rd, turn right on Hawke St, turn left on Seaview Rd, turn right on Hardy St, turn left on Beresford St, turn right on Union St, turn left on Hood St, and turn right on Oram Ave to resume the normal route.

4pm to 9:30pm - Buses travelling westbound towards Hillmorton will follow the normal route to Oram Ave, turn left on Beresford St, turn right on Hardy St, turn left on Seaview Rd, turn right on Hawke St, and turn left on Keyes Rd to resume the normal route.

On Sunday 28^th June for 2 nights there will be road works on Harewood Rd that will require the Route 27 service to detour from its usual route between the hours of 7pm to 6am.

Buses travelling northbound towards Northwood will follow the normal route to Harewood Rd, turn left on Leacroft St, turn right on Isleworth Rd, turn right on Breens Rd, and continue on Gardiners Rd to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling southbound towards Huntsbury will not be impacted.

On Sunday 28^th June for 2 nights there will be road works on Harewood Rd that will require the Route 125 service to detour from its usual route between the hours of 7pm to 6am.

Buses travelling southbound towards Westlake will follow the normal route to Harewood Rd, turn left on Leacroft St, turn right on Isleworth St, turn right on Breens Rd, and turn left on Harewood Rd to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling northbound towards Redwood will not be impacted.

6pm to 9:30pm - Buses travelling eastbound towards New Brighton will continue the normal route to Pages Rd, follow traffic management instructions at Anzac Dr/Pages Rd to follow the normal route to Beresford St, turn right on Union St, turn left on Hood St, and turn left on Oram Ave to continue to the Terminus.

Buses travelling westbound towards Rolleston will not be impacted by this detour.

Buses travelling eastbound towards New Brighton will follow the normal route to Marine Pde, turn right on Lonsdale St, turn left on Shaw Ave, turn right on Lonsdale St, turn left on Keyes Rd, turn right on Hawke St, turn left on Seaview Rd, turn right on Hardy St, turn left on Beresford St, turn right on Union St, turn left on Hood St, and turn left on Oram Ave to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling westbound towards The Palms will start trip at stop #39192 on Oram Ave, turn left on Beresford St, turn right on Hardy St, turn left on Seaview Rd, turn right on Hawke St, turn left on Keyes Rd, turn right on Lonsdale St, turn left on Shaw Ave, turn right on Lonsdale St, and turn left on Marine Pde to resume the normal route.

From Tuesday 9th June for 30 days there will be road works on Mairehau Rd that will require the Route 135 service to detour from its usual route.

Buses travelling westbound towards The Palms will follow the normal route to Mairehau Rd, turn right on Putake Dr, take the 1^st exit at the Rothesay Rd rdbt, take the 2^nd exit at the Pohutukawa Cres rdbt, turn left on Burwood Rd, turn left at the Burwood Hospital Main Entry and turn right on Burwood Rd to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling eastbound towards New Brighton will not be impacted.

From Monday 15th June, Stop #13933 (Main North Rd near Wrights Rd) will be permanently removed and no longer used by Route 1.

Instead, please use Stop #54874 (Kaiapoi South Park & Ride).

Buses travelling westbound towards Halswell will follow the normal route to Mairehau Rd, turn right on Putake Dr, take the 1^st exit at the Rothesay Rd rdbt, take the 2^nd exit at the Pohutukawa Cres rdbt, turn left on Burwood Rd, turn left at the Burwood Hospital Main Entry, turn left on Burwood Rd, and take the 2^nd exit at the Mairehau Rd rdbt to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling eastbound towards Queenspark will not be impacted.

From Tuesday 9th June for 30 days there will be road works on Mairehau Rd that will require school service 669 to detour from its usual route.

Morning trips travelling towards AGHS and SBHS will not be impacted.

Afternoon trips travelling towards Queenspark will follow the normal route to Rothesay Rd, take the 2^nd exit at the Putake Rd rdbt, take the 2^nd exit at the Pohutukawa Cres rdbt, and turn right on Burwood Rd to resume the normal route.

Morning trips travelling towards AGHS and SBHS will follow the normal route to Mairehau Rd, turn left on Prestons Park Dr, take the 2^nd exit at the Georgina St rdbt, take the 2^nd exit at the Aviemore Dr rdbt, take the 2^nd exit at the Katrine Dr rdbt, turn right on Prestons Rd, continue on Burwood Rd, and take the 1^st exit at the Mairehau Rd rdbt to resume the normal route.

Afternoon trips travelling towards Queenspark will follow the normal route to Mairehau Rd, turn right on Putake Rd, take the 1^st exit at the Rothesay Rd rdbt, take the 2^nd exit at the Pohutukawa Cres rdbt, turn right on Burwood Rd, continue on Prestons Rd, turn left on Prestons Park Dr, take the 2^nd exit at the Katrine Dr rdbt, take the 2^nd exit at the Aviemore Dr rdbt, take the second exit at the Georgina St rdbt, and turn right on Mairehau Rd to resume the normal route.

From Tuesday 9th June for 30 days there will be road works on Mairehau Rd that will require school service 791 to detour from its usual route.

Morning trips travelling towards City Schools will not be impacted.

Afternoon trips travelling towards Queenspark will follow the normal route to Mairehau Rd, turn right on Putake Rd, take the 1^st exit at the Rothesay Rd rdbt, take the 2^nd exit at the Pohutukawa Cres rdbt, and turn right on Burwood Rd to resume the normal route.

From Monday 12th January there will be Stop/Go traffic controls in place on Centaurus Rd near Kowhai Tce to facilitate sewer renewal works that will impact the Orbiter service.

Unfortunately, there is no suitable detour for heavy vehicles in this area so delays to certain trips may occur.

Buses travelling eastbound towards Lyttelton will follow the normal route to Linwood Ave, continue on Linwood Ave, U-turn to slip lane at Hay St, continue on Linwood Ave, turn right on Buckleys Rd, and continue on Buckleys Rd to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling westbound toward Eastgate will not be impacted.
