All detours and updates

From Monday 17th August for 5 days there will be road works on Flockton St that will require the Route 44 service to detour from its usual route between 7am and 6pm (reopening daily). 

Buses travelling southbound towards Westmorland will follow the normal route to Westminster St, continue on Westminster St, turn left on to Francis Ave, left on to Warrington St and right on to Barbadoes St to resume the normal route. 

Buses travelling northbound towards Shirley will not need to detour.

From Sunday 16th August for 2 nights there will be night works on Kensington Ave that will require the Route 44 service to detour from its usual route between 7pm and 6am. 

Buses travelling northbound towards Shirley will follow the normal route to Flockton St, turn left on to Westminster St, right on to Cranford St and right on to Innes Rd to resume the normal route. 

Buses travelling southbound towards Westmorland will follow the normal route to Innes Rd, turn left on to Cranford St, left on to Westminster St and right on to Flockton St to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling Clockwise will follow the normal route to Greers Rd, turn left on to Memorial Ave, right on to Grahams Rd, right on to Guildford St and left on to Greers Rd to resume the normal route. 

Buses travelling Anti-clockwise will follow the normal route to Greers Rd, turn right on to Guildford St, left on to Grahams Rd, left on to Memorial Ave and right on to Greers Rd to resume the normal route.

From Monday 20^th July there will be road works on Kerrs Rd that will require the Orbiter service to detour from its usual route until further notice.

Buses travelling Clockwise will follow the normal route to Woodham Rd, continue on Woodham Rd, turn right on Pages Rd, and continue on Buckleys Rd to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling Anticlockwise will follow the normal route to Buckleys Rd, continue on Pages Rd, and turn left on Woodham Rd to resume the normal route.

From Wednesday 12^th August there will be road works on Hereford St that will require the Route 8 service to detour from its usual route until further notice.

Buses travelling southbound towards Lyttelton will follow the normal route to Rolleston Ave, continue on Rolleston Ave, turn left on Cashel St, turn right on Durham St South, turn left on Tuam St, and enter the Bus Interchange via the Tuam St Entry to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling northbound towards the Airport will not be impacted.

From Thursday 23^rd July, Lyttelton Wharf stop #42633 will be closed due to rail crossing upgrades occurring on Sutton Quay.

For northbound and southbound trips, please use stop #41812 on Norwich Quay near Canterbury Street.

Afternoon trips travelling towards Queenspark will follow the normal route to Rothesay Rd, take the 2^nd exit at the Putake Rd rdbt, take the 2^nd exit at the Pohutukawa Cres rdbt, and turn right on Burwood Rd to resume the normal route.

From Tuesday 9th June there will be road works on Mairehau Rd that will require school service 724 to detour from its usual route until further notice.

Morning trips travelling towards AGHS and SBHS will follow the normal route to Mairehau Rd, turn left on Prestons Park Dr, take the 2^nd exit at the Georgina St rdbt, take the 2^nd exit at the Aviemore Dr rdbt, take the 2^nd exit at the Katrine Dr rdbt, turn right on Prestons Rd, continue on Burwood Rd, and take the 1^st exit at the Mairehau Rd rdbt to resume the normal route.

Afternoon trips travelling towards Queenspark will follow the normal route to Mairehau Rd, turn right on Putake Rd, take the 1^st exit at the Rothesay Rd rdbt, take the 2^nd exit at the Pohutukawa Cres rdbt, turn right on Burwood Rd, continue on Prestons Rd, turn left on Prestons Park Dr, take the 2^nd exit at the Katrine Dr rdbt, take the 2^nd exit at the Aviemore Dr rdbt, take the second exit at the Georgina St rdbt, and turn right on Mairehau Rd to resume the normal route.

From Monday 20^th July there will be road works on Kerrs Rd that will require school route 715 to detour from its usual route until further notice.

Morning trips travelling towards Mairehau High School will start trip from the temporary stop on Woodham Rd, and take the 3^rd exit at the Kerrs Rd rdbt to resume the normal route.

Afternoon trips travelling towards Lyttelton will follow the normal route to Kerrs Rd, take the 1^st exit at the Woodham Rd rdbt, and finish trip at the temporary stop on Woodham Rd to resume the normal route.

From Sunday 16th August for 4 nights there will be night works on Harewood Rd that will require the Route 27 service to detour from its usual route from 8pm till 6am.

Buses travelling southbound towards Huntsbury will follow the normal route to Harewood Rd, turn right on Leacroft St, turn left on Isleworth St, turn left on Farrington Ave, turn right on Kilburn St, turn left on Greers Rd, and turn right on Harewood Rd to resume the normal route.                                                                                                                       

Buses travelling northbound towards Northwood will not be impacted.

From Sunday 16th August for 4 nights there will be night works on Harewood Rd that will require the Route 125 service to detour from its usual route from 8pm till 6am.

Buses travelling eastbound towards Redwood will follow the normal route to Harewood Rd, turn left on Cotswold Ave, turn right on Sawyers Arms Rd, take the 3^rd exit at the Highsted Rd roundabout and take the 1^st exit at the Harewood Rd roundabout to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling westbound towards Westlake will not be impacted.

From Monday 27^th July there will be road works on Blackett St that will require the Route 97 service to detour from its usual route until further notice.

Buses travelling eastbound towards Pegasus will follow the normal route to High St, take the 3^rd exit at the King St rdbt, take the 1^st exit at the Queen St rdbt, take the 2^nd exit at the Percival St rdbt, take the 2^nd exit at the Victoria St rdbt, turn left on Ivory St, and turn right on High St to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling westbound towards Rangiora will not be impacted

Morning trips travelling towards Marian College will follow the normal route to High St, take the 3^rd exit at the King St rdbt, take the 1^st exit at the Queen St rdbt, take the 2^nd exit at the Percival St rdbt, take the 2^nd exit at the Queen St rdbt, turn left on Ivory St, and turn right on High St to resume the normal route.

Afternoon trips travelling towards Rangiora will not be impacted.

From Wednesday 29th July there will be road works on Harrow St that will require the Route 80 service to detour from its usual route until further notice.

Buses travelling westbound towards Lincoln will follow the normal route to Aldwins Rd, continue on Aldwins Rd, turn right on Ferry Rd, turn right on Bordesley St, and turn left on Harrow St to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling eastbound towards Parklands will follow the normal route to Harrow St, turn left on Glasgow St, turn right on Newcastle St, and turn left on Aldwins Rd to resume the normal route.

From Monday 15th June, Stop #13933 (Main North Rd near Wrights Rd) will be permanently removed and no longer used by Route 1.

Instead, please use Stop #54874 (Kaiapoi South Park & Ride).
