From Wednesday 29^th October for 17 days there will be road works on Kingsbury Ave that will require school route 722 and 724 to detour from its usual route.

Morning trips travelling towards Christchurch will continue the normal route to Enverton Dr, turn left on Kensington St, left on White St, and right on Kingsbury Ave to resume the normal route.

Afternoon trips travelling towards Rangiora will continue the normal route to Kingsbury Ave, turn left on White St, right on Kensington Ave, and turn left on Enverton Dr to resume the normal route.

From Wednesday 29^th October for 17 days there will be road works on King St that will require the Route 91 service to detour from its usual route.

Buses travelling northbound towards Rangiora will continue the normal route to King St, take the 3^rd exit on the Blackett St roundabout, take the 2^nd exit on the Good St roundabout, take the 1^st exit on the Ashley St roundabout, turn left on River Rd, and turn right into the Northern Park and Ride to finish the trip at the normal terminus.

Buses travelling southbound towards the City will start the trip as normal from the Northern Park and Ride, turn left on River Rd, turn right on Ashley St, take the 3^rd exit at the Blackett St roundabout, take the 2^nd exit at the Good St roundabout, and take the 1^st exit at the King St roundabout to resume the normal route.

On Wednesday 29^th October for 1 day there will be road works on Grimseys Rd that will require the Route 125 service to detour from its usual route.

Buses travelling northbound towards Redwood will continue the normal route to Grimseys Rd, turn right on Dunbarton St, turn left on Exton St, and turn right on Grimseys Rd to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling southbound towards Westlake will continue the normal route to Grimseys Rd, turn left on Exton St, turn right on Dunbarton St, and turn left on Grimseys Rd to resume the normal route.

On Wednesday 29^th October for 2 days there will be road works on Emmett St that will require the Route 44 service to detour from its usual route.

Buses travelling northbound towards Shirley will continue the normal route to Emmett St, turn right on Acheson Ave, left on Hills Rd, and left on Shirley Rd to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling southbound towards Westmorland have no detour required

From Monday 22nd September there will be road works on Flockton St that will require the Route 44 service to detour from its usual route until further notice. 

Buses travelling northbound towards Shirley will follow the normal route along Warrington St, continue on Warrington St, turn left on to Hills Rd, left on to Aylesford St, left on to Westminster St and right on to Kensington Ave to resume the normal route. 

Buses travelling southbound towards Westmorland will follow the normal route along Westminster St, continue on Westminster St, left on to Francis Ave, left on to Warrington St and right on to Barbadoes St to resume the normal route.

On Tuesday 28^th October for 1 day there will be road works on Rolleston Dr that will require the Route 5 service to detour from its usual route.

Buses travelling westbound towards Rolleston will continue the normal route to Tennyson St, continue along Tennyson St, take the 1^st exit at the Byron St roundabout, and continue onto Brookside Rd to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling eastbound towards New Brighton have no detour required.

On Wednesday 29^th October for 1 day there will be road works on Rolleston Dr that will require the Route 5 service to detour from its usual route.

Buses travelling westbound towards Rolleston have no detour required.

Buses travelling eastbound towards New Brighton will continue the normal route to Brookside Rd, continue on Brookside Rd, continue onto Byron St, take the 3^rd exit at the Tennyson St roundabout, and continue on Tennyson St to resume the normal route.

From Tuesday 28^th October the final stage of road works on Maidstone Rd will require the Route 3 service to detour from it’s usual route until further notice.

Buses travelling westbound towards the Airport have no detour required.

Buses travelling eastbound towards Sumner will continue the normal route to Maidstone Rd, turn right on Waimairi Rd, left on Wadeley Rd, and right onto Maidstone Rd to resume the normal route

From Sunday 31st August there is an update to the detour for works on Maidstone Rd that requires the Route 3 service to detour from its usual route until further notice. 

[Updated 18/09] Buses travelling eastbound towards Sumner will follow the normal route along Maidstone Rd, turn left on to Waimairi Rd, right on to Greers Rd, right on to Memorial Ave and right on to Ilam Rd to resume the normal route.  

Buses travelling westbound towards the Airport will not be impacted by these works.

From Monday 27^th October there will be road works on Waimairi Rd that will require the Orbiter service to detour from its usual route until further notice.

Buses travelling clockwise have no detour required.

Buses travelling anticlockwise will continue the normal route to Waimairi Road, turn right on Wentworth St, left on Hounslow St, left on Maidstone Rd, and right onto Waimairi Rd to resume the normal route

From Tuesday 28^th October the final stage of road works on Maidstone Rd will require the Route 130 service to detour from it’s usual route until further notice.

Buses travelling northbound towards Avonhead have no detour required.

Buses travelling southbound towards Hei Hei & Hornby will continue the normal route to Waimairi Rd, turn right on Wadeley Rd, and right onto Maidstone Rd to resume the normal route.

From Monday 16th June there will be road works on Buchanans Rd that will require the Route 130 service to detour from its usual route until further notice. 

Buses travelling westbound towards Hei Hei will continue the normal route to  Racecourse Rd, continue along Racecourse Rd, turn right on to Waterloo Rd, turn right on to SH1 Carmen Rd and turn left on to Buchanans Rd to resume the normal route.  

Buses travelling eastbound towards Avonhead will not be impacted by this detour.

From Monday 3 November, Bentley is refining its trial and removing some of the very low patronaged Route 84 and 85 services it’s been offering. This will see six of its privately operated morning services removed, as well as five removed in the afternoon. The trips being discontinued are indicated in strike through on the timetables on the Route 84 / 85 Rolleston/City direct page.

The current service offerings will run until Friday 31st October before the refined offering takes effect on Monday 3 November.

The good news is there’s still plenty of capacity between our 21 services each weekday, as well as our Route 5 Rolleston-New Brighton service which remains available and unaffected.

From Friday 24^th October for 18 days there will be road works on Grenville Rd that will require the Route 820 service to detour from its usual route.

Buses traveling westbound towards Burnham will continue the normal route to Grenville Rd, turn right onto Queens Dr, and turn right onto Russell Rd to finish the trip at the temporary stop near Queens Dr.

Buses traveling eastbound towards Lincoln via Rolleston will start the trip from the temporary stop near Queens Dr to resume the normal route.

From 4pm Monday 13th October there will be road works on Rookwood Ave to facilitate power pole repairs that will require the Route 60 service to detour from its usual route while signage is in place.

Buses travelling eastbound towards Southshore will follow the normal route along Travis Rd, take the first exit at the roundabout, turn right on to Marriotts Rd and veer left to stay on Marriotts Rd to resume the normal route.  

Buses travelling westbound towards Hillmorton will not be impacted by these works.

From Monday 13th October for 17 days there will be road works on Grampian St that will require the Route 27 service to detour from its usual route. 

Buses travelling northbound towards Northwood will follow the normal route along Claridges Rd, turn right on to Grampian St, left on to Cavendish Rd and veer left to stay on Cavendish Rd and resume the normal route.  

Buses travelling southbound towards Huntsbury will continue the normal route along Cavendish Rd, turn left on to Vietches Rd, right on to Grampian St and left on to Claridges Rd to resume the normal route.

From Monday 6^th October will be road works on Inwoods Road that will require school route 715 to detour from its usual route until further notice. 

Morning trips travelling towards Mairehau High School will follow the normal route along Queenspark Drive, take the 2^nd exit at the Inwoods Road roundabout, turn right onto Ashwood Street, and left onto Broadhaven Avenue to resume the normal route.

Afternoon trips travelling towards Queenspark and Prestons will not be impacted.

From Monday 6^th October for 21 days there will be road works on Wainoni Road that will require school route 715 to detour from it’s usual route.

Morning trips will not be impacted by these roadworks.

Afternoon trips will follow the normal route along New Brighton Road, take the 2^nd exit on the Wainoni Road roundabout, the 1^st exit on the ANZAC Drive roundabout and right onto Wainoni Road to resume the normal route.

From Monday 6^th October there will be road works on Inwoods Road that will require school route 669 to detour from its usual route until further notice. 

Morning trips travelling towards AGHS and SBHS will not be impacted.

Afternoon trips travelling towards Queenspark will follow the normal route along Mairehau Road, turn right onto Royal Park Drive, right onto Brentwood Street, left onto Queenspark Drive, right onto Radiata Avenue, and left onto Broadhaven Avenue to resume the normal route.

From Monday 6^th October for 21 days there will be road works on Wainoni Road that will require school routes 665 & 666 to detour from it’s usual route.

Morning trips will not be impacted by these roadworks.

Afternoon trips will follow the normal route along New Brighton Road, take the 2^nd exit on the Wainoni Road roundabout, the 1^st exit on the ANZAC Drive roundabout to continue along ANZAC Drive, and will then resume the normal route.

Afternoon trips will follow the normal route along New Brighton Road, take the 2^nd exit on the Wainoni Road roundabout, the 1^st exit on the ANZAC Drive roundabout and right onto Wainoni Road to resume the normal route.

From Monday 6^th October there will be road works on Inwoods Road that will require school route 652 to detour from its usual route until further notice.

Morning trips travelling towards Chisnallwood and Haeata Campus will follow the normal route along Mairehau Road, turn left onto Royal Park Drive, right onto Brentwood Street, and left onto Queenspark Drive to resume the normal route.

Afternoon trips travelling towards Queenspark and Burwood will not be impacted.

From Monday 6^th October for 21 days there will be road works on Wainoni Road that will require the Route 653 school service to detour from its usual route.

Morning trips travelling towards Chisnallwood Intermediate will follow the normal route along New Brighton Road, take the 2^nd exit on the Wainoni Road roundabout, the 1^st exit on the ANZAC Drive roundabout and right onto Wainoni Road to resume the normal route.

Afternoon trips travelling towards Southshore will not be impacted by these roadworks.

From Monday 6^th October for 21 days there will be road works on Wainoni Road that will require Route 80 to detour from it's usual route

Buses travelling westbound towards Lincoln will follow the normal route along New Brighton Road, take the 2^nd exit on the Wainoni Road roundabout, the 1^st exit on the ANZAC Drive roundabout and right onto Wainoni Road to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling eastbound towards Parklands will not be impacted by these roadworks.

There will be several closed and temporary bus stops along Halswell Rd due to the road improvements currently underway and estimated to take two and a half years. These will impact Route 7 passengers as well as some other routes that use Halswell Rd.

Please take note of the signs installed by contractors at the closed stops, directing you to the nearest stop/temporarily placed stop. Allow for additional time to get to your stop in case stops have been moved as the road works progress.

From Tuesday 22nd July there will be road works on Lincoln Rolleston Road that will require the Route 673 service to detour from its usual route until further notice. 

Morning trips travelling towards City will not be impacted by this detour. 

Afternoon trips travelling towards Rolleston will continue the normal route to Tennyson St, take the second exit in the roundabout on to Springston Rolleston Rd, turn left on to Taita Dr, turn right on to Branthwaite Dr, turn right on to Territory St, turn right on to Kestrel St, turn left on to Branthwaite Dr, turn left on to Taita Dr, and turn left on to Springston Rolleston Rd to resume the normal route.

From Tuesday 22nd July there will be road works on Lincoln Rolleston Road that will require the Routes 672 and 674 service to detour from its usual route until further notice. 

Morning trips travelling towards Christchurch will continue the normal route to Branthwaite Dr, turn right on to Territory St, turn right on to Kestrel St, turn left on to Branthwaite St, turn left on to Taita Dr, turn right on to Springston Rolleston Rd, take the second exit in the roundabout on to Tennyson St to resume the normal route.

From Monday 16th June there will be road works on Bower Avenue that will require the Route 671 school service to detour from its usual route until further notice. 

Buses travelling in the PM towards Burnham will continue the normal route to Racecourse Rd, continue along Racecourse Rd, turn right on to Waterloo Rd, turn right on to SH1 Carmen Rd, turn left on to Buchanans Rd to resume the normal route.  

Buses travelling in the AM towards Riccarton will not be impacted by this detour.
