  • Route detour

    Detour - Montreal St (from 19 Jun 2013 until further notice)

    ​Due to the light phasing on Tuam St / Montreal St intersection being changed for the Montreal St road works buses will detour from Wednesday 19 June until further notice. Buses travelling towards the Airport and Belfast will detour by turning off Tuam St onto Durham St and St Asaph St back onto Montreal St where they will continue their normal route.

  • Service change

    Bus stop closed - Montreal St (from 11 Jun 2013 until further notice)

    ​Bus stop 14872 on Montreal St between Worcester St and Gloucester St (opposite the Art Gallery) is currently closed. A temporary stop has been installed further south on Montreal St between Hereford St and Worcester St.

Selwyn Star Fares (Outer Zone)

The buses included in the outer zones are the Selwyn Star services and The Blue Line service (after Bridgend), Kainga (Saturday only to and from Kaiapoi) and the Diamond Harbour Ferry. Most of these services travel to either the Waimakarriri or Selwyn Districts and cost more to run resulting in a slightly higher fare to travel on board. As with all services it is cheaper to use a Metrocard to pay for your fares. The list below will explain what you need to pay to travel on these services.
