Event Direct by Metro bookings live for Super Round 2026
Event Direct by Metro bookings are now live for Super Round 2026, happening over 24-26 April 2026. It comes three weeks out from the opening event at One New Zealand Stadium at Te Kaha.
The new pre-booked shuttle service will pick customers up from 11 different locations around Christchurch, taking them directly to Latimer Square and Ara, both short walks from One New Zealand Stadium at Te Kaha.
Shuttle bus prices confirmed for Super Round 2026
Prices for Event Direct tickets for trips during Super Round weekend are $5 per person each way for early bird, and $10 return. Standard tickets are $6.25 per person each way and $12.50 return. These prices have been finalised to reflect the rising costs of fuel. Prices for future Event Direct by Metro events will be confirmed as tickets are launched. Fares for standard Metro bus services remain $3 or less.
In setting fares, the Regional Council has worked to balance affordability for customers with the need to manage rising operating costs. Our approach aims to keep event services accessible while ensuring they remain financially sustainable.
