All detours and updates

On Wednesday 20 January between the hours of approximately 8pm until 6am there will be a detour away from Hoskyns Rd due to night road works. 
Buses travelling toward Rolleston will detour from Jones Rd to Weedons Ross Rd, to Main South Rd to resume normal route. Bus stop 50367 on Jones Rd will be closed and passengers should use stop 52860 on Kidman St instead. Buses travelling toward New Brighton are not affected by this detour. View detour map

On Tuesday 12 January from 7am for approximately 3 weeks there will be a detour away from Norman Kirk Dr due to road works. 

Buses travelling in both directions will detour from Rolleston Dr to continue along Rolleston Dr to resume normal route. Bus stops 50538 and 52860 on Kidman St will not be serviced by the Yellow Line and passengers should use the nearby temporary stops on Rolleston Dr instead. View detour map

Please note, passengers transferring to the Yellow Line from the 820 will need to transfer over to use the temporary stops on Rolleston Dr instead. Passengers travelling from Lincoln/ Faringdon on the 820 may also transfer to the Yellow Line by disembarking the 820 at bus stop 17765 on Tennyson St, to catch the city-bound Yellow at bus stop 17783 across the street. 

On Tuesday 12 January from 7am for approximately 3 weeks there will be a detour away from Norman Kirk Dr for the Yellow Line which will impact those transferring onto this service from the 820. 

Bus stops 50538 and 52860 on Kidman St will not be serviced by the Yellow Line and passengers will need to transfer over to use the nearby temporary stops on Rolleston Dr to catch the Yellow Line from there. View detour map

Passengers travelling from Lincoln/ Faringdon on the 820 may also transfer to the Yellow Line by disembarking the 820 at bus stop 17765 on Tennyson St, to catch the city-bound Yellow at bus stop 17783 across the street. 

Buses will be detouring away from Selwyn St from 6am on Tuesday 6th October until further notice.

Northbound buses travelling towards Burnside will take the normal route to Coronation St before turning onto Selwyn St, Bletsoe Ave, Strickland St, Antigua St and resume the normal route on Antigua St.

Bus stops 29130, 43487 will be closed and passengers should use 33664 instead. Passengers normally using 29148 should instead use the temporary stop on Bletsoe Ave.

Buses travelling south towards Spreydon are not affected by this detour.

Eastbound buses travelling towards the city and Southshore will be detouring away from Selwyn St from 6am on Tuesday 6th October until further notice.

Buses will detour from Selwyn St onto Bletsoe Ave, Strickland St, Antigua St, and Disraeli St before resuming the normal route on Selwyn St.

Passengers who normally use bus stops 50847 or 33655 on Selwyn St should instead use 50875, and passengers who normally use stops 43487, 22071 or 29565 should instead use the temporary bus stop on Bletsoe Ave near Selwyn St. View detour map

Buses travelling westbound towards Hillmorton are not affected by this detour.

From Monday 28 September until further notice there will be a detour away from Adderley Tce due to road works.

Buses travelling toward Pegasus and Waikuku will detour from Silverstream Blvd to Island Rd, Audley St, Sneyd St then to Adderley Tce to resume normal route. Passengers should use bus stops 53417 on Island Rd or 53349 on Silverstream Blvd.
Buses travelling toward the city will detour from Adderley Tce to Sneyd St, Audley St, Island Rd, then to Silverstream Blvd to resume normal route. Passengers should use stops 53331 on Silverstream Blvd and 53401 on Island Rd. View detour map

There are two trips a day (Monday - Friday) that drop off and pick up outside Kilmarnock Enterprises on Lodestar Ave. The 6.45am trip departing the Palms arrives at Kilmarnock Enterprises at approximately 7.35am, and the 4.05pm trip departing Halswell picks up passengers outside Kilmarnock Enterprises at approximately 4.27pm.

There are two express trips a day between Lincoln and the city (via Prebbleton). In the morning the express trip leaves Lincoln at 7.20am and in the afternoon it leaves the city at 5.15pm. Both trips use the Southern Motorway to travel between Lincoln and the city. Zone 1 fares apply to trips between Prebbleton and the city. Zone 2 fares apply to trips between Lincoln and the city.
