Getting there

Metro will be putting on free shuttle bus services to help people get to the event.

These shuttles will be departing every 15 minutes from outside the Interchange between 4-6pm. The buses will be pulling up outside the Interchange, at the InterCity bus stop on Lichfield Street. Look for the buses with "SPARKS Shuttle" on the LED display. You'll be dropped off outside Hagley Park, at stop 53185 on Rolleston Ave between Gloucester Street and Armagh Street, ready for a night of entertainment.

Normal Saturday evening schedules will be operating across the network for your return journey.

Need-to-know COVID info

While no vaccine passes are required to board our buses or use the Interchange, vaccine certificates are required for anyone aged over 12 years and three months to attend this event. You must wear a face mask onboard our buses and while waiting at the bus stop (unless you have an exemption). Everyone is encouraged to scan the onboard QR code with the NZ COVID-19 Tracer App. If you have cold or flu symptoms, please stay home and get tested.

Lastly, please continue to be kind to our drivers and fellow passengers and have an amazing night, Christchurch!
