Unpacking your options to get to One New Zealand Stadium at Te Kaha

Pre-booked event shuttles will be on offer to help eventgoers get to One New Zealand Stadium at Te Kaha. 

This is one of many transport options to get to the new stadium, which will open in April 2026. 

The shuttles are a managed service that eventgoers can book online prior to the event, taking them from six different pick-up areas within Christchurch, to Latimer Square, just a short walk away from the stadium. 

We’re excited to offer this direct and efficient service to eventgoers. The shuttle option provides people with a guaranteed ride to and from the stadium from within Christchurch, and the nature of it means we can scale the number of shuttles up and down depending on demand ahead of events.

Eventgoers are encouraged to consider all options when picking their transport for events at the stadium. 

People can use the existing Metro bus network to travel to the bus interchange, which is a short walk to the stadium. Cycling, scootering, walking and carpooling are all great sustainable options for getting to the stadium as well.

More details on the pre-booked event shuttles, including ticket prices, how to book them, and where the pick-up locations are, will be available in March 2026.
