Detour for Te Kaha Stadium Events road closures (from 24/04/2026 until 24/04/2026)

On Friday 24th April there will be road closures in the city for the Te Kaha stadium events that will require the Route 29 service to detour from its usual route between the hours of 8:30pm to midnight. Please be aware that delays may occur due to traffic in the area.

Buses travelling northbound towards the Gloucester St will have no detour required, but will follow instructions at closure points on Manchester St. Please note that buses will not be servicing the Manchester SuperStops while events are on. All pick-ups/drop-offs will happen at the Interchange.

Buses travelling southbound towards the Bus Interchange will have no detour required, but will follow instructions at closure points on Manchester St. Please note that buses will not be servicing the Manchester SuperStops while events are on. All pick-ups/drop-offs will happen at the Interchange.
