Detour for City2Surf road closures (from 15/03/2026 until 15/03/2026)

On Sunday 15th March there will be road closures in New Brighton for the City2Surf event that will require the Route 80 service to detour from its usual route between 9am to 12pm. 

Buses travelling eastbound towards Parklands will follow the normal route to Wainoni Rd, turn left on to Anzac Dr, take the third exit at the roundabout on to New Brighton Rd, take the first exit at the Wainoni Rd roundabout, continue on to New Brighton Rd and turn left on to Bower Ave to resume the normal route. 

Buses travelling westbound towards Lincoln will follow the normal route to Bower Ave, turn right on to New Brighton Rd, take the second exit at the Wainoni Rd roundabout, continue on to New Brighton Rd, take the first exit at the roundabout on to Anzac Dr and turn right on to Wainoni Rd to resume the normal route.
