Route Updates

Detour for Dublin St road works (from 12/02/2026 until 13/02/2026)

From Thursday 12th February for 2 days there will be road works on Dublin St that will require the Route 155 service to detour from its usual route.

Buses travelling southbound towards Lyttelton will follow the normal route to Norwich Quay, continue on Norwich Quay, turn left on Canterbury St, and turn right on Winchester St to resume the normal route.

Buses travelling northbound towards Christchurch will not be impacted.

Connecting Lyttelton and Christchurch

This weekday service connects Lyttelton through the tunnel to the services at the Ferrymead Shops, cinema and retail at The Tannery, and across to Eastgate Mall. It runs three times a day.
