Community Services Cards unable to be added to Metrocards on Sunday, 28 April

We have been advised that we will not be able to process concessions for customers wanting to add their Community Services Card to their Metrocard on Sunday, 28 April 2024. This will be the case for the entire day.

Services affected by union meeting on January 27

Ritchies, one of Metro's operators, will be holding an annual union meeting from 11am to 1pm this Thursday, 27 January 2022. We encourage all bus users to check the information below in case your bus service is affected.

There will be NO services operating on the following routes between 10:30am and 1pm Thursday 27 January 2022:

  • 29 - City/Airport via Fendalton
  • 140 - Russley/Mt Pleasant
  • 155 - Eastgate/Lyttelton Shopper Service

The following services will only have limited services operating:

  • 3 - Airport/Sumner
  • 28 - Casebrook/Lyttelton

Priority on limited services will be given to Diamond Harbour connections for ferry passengers.
